Blood tests for tick borne illnesses

I almost have my GP ready to agree on a western blot and co-infections test from Igenex.

But since I've been on abx treatment, I know there is a certain amount of time I need to be off the abx before taking the blood sample to increase the likelihood that the test will catch the bugs, but I can't remember how much time I need to be off of them, and I don't see it on the "read this" thread.

Can some remind me?

Thanks Traveler. I also got an e-mail back from Igenex and they said:

"The only tests affected by antibiotics are our PCR or FISH tests. If you are planning on only doing the Western Blots, it will be fine. But otherwise, we recommend being off antibiotics for at least two weeks before testing."
