Any suggestions on the best way to test your home for mold??

In my book Detox or Die, the author of the book actually sells mold plates. I think they are $40 per room. I've never used them and not sure how it works but I think you set one in your room and then send it back to them for analysis. The book is written by Dr. Sherry Rogers and her office # is 315-488-2856

Home improvement stores (Lowes, Home Depot, maybe even Walmart??) will usually carry home mold test kits.

yes - you have to be very, very careful with using a "professional" service for this. They will often test for mold for "free" but come back with a very expensive "solution" to mitigate the mold. Caveat Emptor when it comes to those types of companies...
