Very frustrated but new this would happen !!!

I was trying to get a Medical Waiver to cover the cost of my LLMD who is 3 hours away from me and my Health Ins denied it as they say there are Doc's in my area who will treat Lyme ...  I said , " not late stage lyme disease they wont treat" .. I looked these Doc's up that they gave me and they are all Infectious Disease Doc's..... Even tho I knew it wasnt guna fly I am still very angry over it that we Lyme patients are left to pay for this out of our own pocket ,....  We shouldnt be treated anyless then any other sick patient with another type of disease by these Ins Co.......  

Thanks for the info , I will for sure keep submitting them and filing appeals.. Lol. It's Funny because last year I had over 60g in medical bills including a surgery I had and not one time did the Ins call me and ask anything but as soon as I was diagnosed with Lyme a month ago they have called me 3 times in the last few weeks... Lol

Be happy! Canadians don't have a hope of having anything covered. But I wouldn't give up my US LLMD for anything. Ahhhhh!

I'm so sorry to hear this! It's so frustrating and so...just plain wrong! Sometimes if you include a bunch of science it makes them more likely to do what you want (I think they just get overwhelmed and assume you must be right!)...keep on trying, I guess, even though it's so frustrating and stressful!
