I’ve been using the sauna at the gym for the past 3 weeks or so, trying to get there as much as possible. The problem is that every time I am in there, I get extremely dizzy after about 5 minutes, to the point of not being able to lift my head a certain way or everything feels off balance.
Dizziness is by far my absolute worst symptom, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
I don’t feel quite as bad when I get out of the sauna, but 10 minutes is the most I have been able to do (the sign outside says no more than 15 minutes, but I thought you had to do way more in order for detox to be effective). I do sweat, but not profusely like some say you should when detoxing. I’m drinking water constantly while I’m in there, too, so I would have thought that would have lessened the dizzies.
So, I guess my question is, does this happen to anyone else? How can I build up my time in the sauna if I keep feeling this way, and am I getting anything accomplished by only being in there for 10 minutes?
