Hey Springsjean, I know right? I may be educated in one world in medicine but this "disease" world is new to me. Shocking for me too. New information for me just like yourself.
Gosh with your friend. That's kind of proof in the pudding. Man.
You said, "I think it will be many many more years before further investigation discloses the other diseases' links to lyme."
You know, with all the research from scientists they have the links don't they.
Maybe that's what you meant and I misunderstood, that they won't disclose it.
I believe they know the causes. Govt profits off of pharmaceutical companies. Lot's of congress get paid. Let's bury the links.....treating symptoms pays more.
Hey Mercury. I hear ya. Don't get me started.
Isn't that something what one of your providers side. Symptoms of Bart huh?
There you go. That is the door then for a neurodegenerative disease that is not treated from a pathogen base by mainstream but a symptom base. The symptoms are emotional. AD's, sleep meds.
You saying your friends are all on meds and encouraging you to go and see about
it. This is what is being taught, to being "pro-active" in health isn't it? I think you did the right thing by the way.
It's not our fault. It's being taught.
People are learning all of this as it's all we are encouraged by doctors, read about
it in magazines, and see on it tv and hear about
shopping and in homes. Movie stories, sitcoms plugging this is health. You should have heard an episode of Reba explaining how these meds are essential and I love her show but I was shaking my head........... :(

Food for thought maybe?
I finally stopped to consider, Dogs, Cattle, Horses, etc, all getting dewormed, drugs to rid parasites, checked for bugs too like mycoplasmas as they lose calves do to it.
This is how we treat our animals, pets or for consumption.
Why is it, they don't bring parasites, pathogens, into the SAME equation for us then at doctors appt. People are not getting this treatment. Why? It's never even brought in as a possibility for infection in the FIRST WORLD. But it is for animals. Regularily. They give antibiotics to calves to try to beat mycoplasma infections. Read abstracts on it. These calves are breeding stock babies or for food right.
Any doctor ever told you that you could have a parasite or bacteria infection never mind lymes? Not happening. Not hard to see why.
The THIRD WORLD, they have been and are still, treating for bugs and parasites, regularily.
Gosh, when will it all come out. Lymes is so, so serious.
