Hi all,

Did you ever read a book or watch a film that left you thinking or whenever you think of it makes you laugh?

Okay, I'll start!

From "To Kill a Mockingbird":

"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."


 

From the movie "As Good As It Gets", Jack Nicholson playing Melvin Udall:

"Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here."


 

It doesn't have to be both, can be just one book or one movie...

Can't remember the name of the movie, but Walter Matthau's character says, "It's not a mess, it's a wilderness of free association."

This quote had me rolling on the floor laughing.

Oh I love that movie with Jack Nicholson..The crazy line is so funny! LOL

I love comedy......Old school is a favorite.."We're going streaking!"It's only him..hahahaha!

My hubby and I also watch American Dad and Family guy a lot. It's awful awful, but so funny too! We constantly throw lines out from Family guy.....It's just too racy not to enjoy haha.

Yeah..I'm kinda immature at times blush

Those are very powerful words indeed...

Razzle, I never heard that before..  is it possible that line was said in the Odd Couple?  Duh!

Sleepless, I never watched that show before.. 

Normally I like mysteries such as Alfred Hitchcock films..  Not many movies crack me up but I love this movie called "Shirley Valentine" because it's a combination of reality and comedy (hey, the truth is funny!)..  I can't think of an exact line because there's just too many but there is one scene where Shirley talks to a wall... LOL!

Hey Sleepless, it's good to be silly!  I'm 55 and I'm still silly, so there!  LOL!  And I hope I never lose my silliness... It's the inner child in us...
