Hell everyone i am new here, and wondering if anyone could take a look at my symptoms to give me some insight on my health.
quick run down... 3 years ago I suddenly developed a long list of symptoms all in nearly one day, but this all started about
2 years after
I was bitten by a tick, which was still in me at the time, part of it was sitting underneath my skin near my groin area, until i decided to pull
it out with tweasers. I do not remember a rash or anything when it happened, I was not concerned at the time , i was in the Army doing field
training at the time. I developed a dull pain in my testicles that worried me somewhat , I cannot remember if this was after the bite though.
After 3 years of dealing with these symptoms I have seen a few doctors that none really had a diagnosis for me except my Integrated doc
who said i was high in mercury and lead. but chelation did not seem to have effect. I was never tested for lyme because i had forgotten about
the tick and didnt think to tell her about
it.
Here are my symptoms, and they vary depending on what i eat, I feel better when i do salt flushes and fast for short amounts of time( about
1 day)
There is much more to be said about
my health , but I am trying to not make a story out of this lol. Thanks for your attention to my post and any suggestions.

Hi gatorkea,
Welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear you have had to put up with these symptoms for so long. I would say that those symptoms point to Lyme. Check out the "New to Lyme?". Thread at the top of the forum. There are symptom lists and a lot of other goo resources to help you there.
Your best next step would be to find a Lyme Literate doctor For a a thorough evaluation and clinical diagnosis. The standard testing is not very accurate, particularly in the case of a long held infection.
Please let us know if you need help finding a suitable doctor.

Hi gatorkea, sorry to hear you have been sick. The thing with lyme is that it is a very determined and strong bacteria. We come in contact with alot of bacteria in our daily lives but lyme is very complex. Everyone has different symptoms as it can and will affect every system and organ in the body. Our bodies are meant to deal with bacteria which it tries to do by giving us symptoms. It sure sounds to me like you could have lyme especially in light of the tick bite. It is extremely important that you see an LLMD as achieving said. Infectious disease drs follow a totally different protocol for treatment and diagnosis which is not recommended by ILADS (or me).
Keep us posted and good luck to you.

Hi gatorkea - welcome to the forum! Just so you know I had to edit your post because we can't post doctors' names - forum rules!
I wish I could give you a straight answer as to whether or not you have lyme - I was sick for 10 years before I figured out that lyme was a huge factor - like the others said you really need to see a LLMD if you want the most well-informed answers and treatment.
Just looking at your symptoms I see a possible red flag for candida. Have you looked into this? You'll notice a lot of these problems - candida, lyme, heavy metals, etc., tend to go hand in hand. Just something to maybe look into! Best of luck!
