This is one I bought way back last summer and read. Since I seem to be on the downslope of coming out of my Lyme 'journey', I picked it up and began reading it over again to see if there are any opportunities to 'tweak' my regimen. The book, "The Lyme Solution" by Dr. Ken Singleton is an EXCELLENT collection of stuff related to Lyme and TBIs and various treatment methods, detox strategies, diet, etc. I was impressed how he goes into the way the immune system works (and dosen't work) in the presences of TBIs and what various treatments and supplements do! It discusses REAL SCIENCE of the matter without overwhelming the reader (and I liked the fact that he went into more details at times as it scintillated my NASA/techincal brain!). He also discussions things to ameliorate various symptoms while undergoing treatment (insomnia, depression, anxiety, joint pain, etc.). Veyr thorough. And he doesn't make his own "products" - he just uses objective discussion of available products in the market that may be used for Lyme/TBI treatments as needed by each respective patient.
I think he gives a very balanced discussion of abx versus herbal treatments (he recommends both) and he's a real MD/LLMD in the field. Unfortunately, he doesn't take new patients as he has converted to research (I tried to get in to see him but no dice). Still, I just thought I'd throw in this tidbit as the book definitely has a wealth of information from which to choose whichever your ultimate path to healing may end up being. I have no financial or other interest in Dr. S., just wanted to trhow this out there in case anyone might be interested. Be well, all!
