Huge Lyme Conference Tomorrow Live Streaming

Tomorrow will be the Lyme Action Network conference/forum featuring several well-known LLMD's (Dr. H, Dr. L, Dr. C) along with Pamela Weintraub, a legal expert, a microbiologist, a representative from Clongen labs and many others.

The conference is at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Registration has closed as the event is at capacity but it will be live-streamed tomorrow at this link:www.livestream.com/skidmorevideo

The presentation is between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30. It is an all day event.

I will be attending in person. I'll post any interesting or new information.

There was some good things said. Quangen Labs [sic] in Germantown, Maryland has some interesting new methods called "Enrichment" which makes testing more accurate. Advanced Laboratories in Pennsylvania claimed to be able to culture BB in 14 days. They really slammed the IDSA and their 2006 guidelines. Very good info. I would recommend going to the site and watching part 1 about tick borne diseases.

Much of it was geared toward changing the laws, but I particularly enjoyed Dr. H's presentation. He is a fast talker, but he had some really good suggestions.

I wish I was there in person to give my applause and standing-O for his presentation... we need more LLMD's like him to pursue the studies and open the communication lines with government bodies (both in the US and in Canada), with the insurance companies, and with primary care physicians! In Canada our Government and medical system has just stuck their heads in the sand and are completely ignoring the situation... it's absolutely infuriating and so sad that people are suffering needlessly! It makes our Government and medical system look sloppy, lazy, and uncompassionate!
