Hi All ~   My LLMD started me on 750 mg  2 x a day of Grapefruit seed extract and its making so sick to my stomach and giving me a huge headach .. Anyone been on this and know how to start out slower with this stuff or is it something you juts have to take until the symptoms go away ?????????????????

GSE will make you herx. I take when I go to bed but I've been getting a headache back and wonder if it is from the GSE. Its a great supplement to take for lyme though. Just make sure you detoxing. Are you taking magnesium? Magnesium helps me in so many ways but I just read today that it can help headaches.

I take Magnesium .. 2 in the morning and 3 at night cuz mine was so low.... When the LLMD gave me the GSE he said, "I dont expect this to give you a Herx"... RIGHT ..LOL LOL I had a headache for 4 days until I realized it was the GSE so today I didnt take any so I can get rid of the headache... Do you think I should start out with 1 GSE 2x a day and work up to 3 2x a day ????? He wants me to take 3 2x a day ....

Yes, start with the smallest dose you can and slowly work your way up to the full dose.
