Hi Lovehealth!
I'm soooo sorry to hear about
this! Youch!
You are right about
Lyme attacking knees, although it doesn't discriminate, it attacks all joints! Equal opportunity bugs, ya know! Lyme is also know to hit any previous injury, so you are right about
Lyme possibly being part of the reason for this new injury.
What I would suggest, since Lyme will flare during any stress - and even minor surgery is
very stressful on the body - that you do things to boost your immune system, be sure you are taking plenty of probiotics, and be well rested.
After the surgery is over and you are back home, remember that stress will cause Lyme to flare (I know I just said that, but it's important LOL!), and so detox, be sure you are resting, and stick to your dietary & medicinal routines, as getting things back to routine will go a long way towards you getting past the stress of the surgery.
Best of luck for the surgery! Good vibes and healing thoughts to you! =)
