just ramped up on antibiotics...???

Since I have been so sick I have not been able to sleep except at night with Ambien.  The Dr. just up'd my meds...now 15 antibiotics a day not counting other stuff.  I have been napping which is not normal since I have been sick. I feel like my body is in restorative mode. 

Is this a normal herx reaction?

Please help.

My DD10 (68 lbs) has been using melatonin ~ 1.5 mg since she began treatment 1 year ago.  She sleeps well with it.  I suppose I should try to wean off a little as puberty is approaching.

15 Abx.  Oh my gosh!

OK now I get it. Yes napping and fatigue are totally normal while in treatment. Your body is working major overtime to try and get rid of bacteria and toxins and needs as much rest as possible. Pushing yourself at this time only makes the body waste energy that would otherwise be spent fighting the disease.
