Very Low CD-57 but I feel fine

I recently had some bloodwork done because I have been feeling fatigued during exercise. I was treated for Lyme in 2009 (I caught it pretty early, I had few symptoms). My bloodwork came back and my CD57 was very low - 19. I was only positive for IgM band 41 which is inconclusive for Lyme. Additionally by IgG was low as were two subclasses (1 and 3). Could my CD-57 just be low because my immune system is crap? Based on what I have read, it seems like I should be feeling a lot worse with CD57 that low. I don't have any of the symptoms I had with my original Lyme's (joint pain, headaches, swollen lymph nodes). I thought I might test positive for babesia because I've been having night sweats, but that was negative.

I am really disturbed by this CD57 result. My doctor has given me the option of antibiotics but he didn't seem that concerned about it. He seems more concerned about the IgG numbers. Obviously I must be fighting off some kind of infection with the IgM 41.

I guess I am wondering - has anyone else felt fine with a low CD57? It's one of those things where it's impossible to know what mine used to be, or even if there are perfectly healthy people walking around with sub 20s since very little research has been done.

Mine is under 20 also, but I feel really unwell. I have Lyme and several co-infections. I have several bands positive on IgG and IgM.

Is your doctor going solely by a negative test to determine that you don't have babesia? It is my understanding that the babesia tests are not accurate. Do you have a LLMD?

I would not base treatment solely on the CD-57, but from what I understand, a low number is associated with chronic Lyme and makes relapse very likely. With symptoms of fatigue, sweats, etc............I would look into it if it were me before things become worse. Did you have the CD57 done when you first got sick in 2009? When I had mine done I was very sick after a severe flu a few months earlier. Because it was so low, several LLMD's said that I must have had a re-infection because there was no way for it to have dropped to that level in a short time frame.
