Lyme disease creates a lot of inflammation in the body, and when a person has neuro-Lyme, the nerves themselves are inflamed, causing a lot of pain for some - like me. Lyme can also create bone pain, not just the nerves around the bone hurting, but actual bone pain. The heavy duty pain killers didn't even touch this kind of pain for me.
You should talk this over with your LLMD. He may prescribe anti-inflammatories, or you can use turmeric (I use 3 grams a day) to combat the inflammation. Otherwise the only thing that I know of to help this kind of pain is Lyme Disease and co-infection treatment.
