My daughter has several bullseye rashes

I live in the Netherlands, my daughter several weeks ago was bitten by a tick in her groin at a scouting camp.  I noticed yesterday that she had 5 bullseye rashes on her leg.  They started as a red itchy spot a few days ago, now it has a ring around it.  I took her to the docs and he said it could be a lyme rash, he told me that normally when you press in a lyme rash it stays red and does not colour white.  The doc wants to wait for 2 weeks.  He did not want to give her antibiotics just yet.  Today the rash is fading, but am worried that the antibiotics were not given.  He told us not to worry because you can see it in a bloodtest.  Are there any ather bites that can look like a lyme bite.  It is definately not ringworm.  I have a photo of some of them, how do I upload them?  New to this forum :)

I'm sorry to hear that you have some of the same problems in the Netherlands when it comes to getting adequate treatment for Lyme as in the US.

A bullseye rash is one of the few objective signs of Lyme that the IDSA agrees on. Therefore, if she has a bullseye rash, there is no excuse for the doctor not giving antibiotics. Your daughter should definitely be on them ASAP. She has a known tick bite followed by EM rashes. The blood test that that doctor is likely referring to (ELISA) is NOT accurate and should not be used to diagnose Lyme.

I would quickly find another doctor that will prescribe antibiotics. Do you have naturopathic or integrative doctors in the Netherlands? Are they able to prescribe pharmaceutical medications? I find that a lot of times they are more open to diagnosing and treating Lyme.
