I am trying to understand sleep issues and lyme/coinfections. my issue is early awakening and inability to go to sleep
I was issue free for 3 months and then this and some other symptoms returned. UGH.
so, as I am reading up on the issue, we know that lyme can be a serious serotonin disrupter. or are there other aspects to this I should be looking into.
Melatonin and valerian does not seem to work. I am on trazadone but this is less effective now.
Anybody know the difference between 5-htp and GABA? or advice on other supplements or other things to look into.
We have a clinic that does look into neurotranmitters but the tests are expensive...wondering if that would be something to pursue.
