The twitching has returned

The twitching was gone. Tonight is has returned. I have been off my antibiotics for a week and a half. Should I feel glad because it means the antibiotics were helping or sad because-dang it-those stupid twitches have returned. They are moving quickly through my body and not lingering in one place like they were before...I guess I am not done with the treatment yet, bummer.

How long were you in treatment before you were taken off your medication?

I'm curious to know because I've been off antibiotics for over 2 weeks now and my symptoms of twitching,muscle cramps and sleep disturbance haven't reared their ugly little heads yet.

Have you tried magnesium? It helps tremendously with the twitching.

I have been taking abx since spring, this last time was seven weeks. This was my third round of them.
Springsjean, I have tried magnesium, it gives me diahrea pretty quickly. I guess I could try again.

Today, weird pressure in head and neck. The kind that you can't bend down or move your head too fast without having some discomfort. I hate it...I am a morning sneezer. Ugh.

You didn't have something with lemon, or anything that was pickled did you? Those things are known to set off muscle twitching and spasms.

If that's not the case, and since you've said that the head and neck pressure is back, then I would have to say that you just aren't done with treatment. So sorry, but you really haven't been in treatment very long.

Shinji, I found this post wandering around the forum on it's own (LOL!), so I assumed it belonged with this thread and moved it to here, so that others could follow this conversation as well.

No I haven't been in treatment long time. I was hoping I would be close to done with. Guess not.
Next week I have made an appointment with a holistic nutritionist. I am hoping she can add some insight to my doctors treatments. On the phone she seemed to know what she was talking about. She even told me to make sure my doctor wasn't the type to get mad at me for seeing someone that isn't a MD.

That sounds like a great place to start! Do be sure to do your research with what she tells you as well.

Are you detoxing? That will help with muscle twitches as well as many other symptoms.
