LLMD doesn't think its lyme, lol!

That sounds so incredibly frustrating! I'm sorry you have to go through all of this uncertainty - wallow in it for as long as you need to - we all need that sometimes - but don't give up! What was the doctor's rationale for thinking it's lupus instead of lyme?

I know that, of course, you want to know what exactly is wrong with you and treat it accordingly, but detoxing and a healthy lifestyle in general will help regardless of the actual condition. In the meantime, maybe you could focus on that, to be proactive about this thing in the midst of the uncertainty.

All LLMD's are not created equal! If you are showing signs of a Lyme or other tick-borne infection, then go to another doc and get another opinion!! We would do that in a minute if we thought we had cancer or something like that.

I agree with Razzle on this one - my first thought was "Is this an ILADS trained doc?" It's becoming more well known that these infections are the cause for many autoimmune diseases because of the stress they put on the body.

Okay, I went back through some of your posts. First of all, you had said that you were going to go see an Infectious Disease Doc, is this the one you are speaking of now? If so, run - don't walk!!! - they are notorious for not being able to admit when they have a Lyme patient in their office! They also don't recognize Lyme disease can easily be a chronic infection.

I also had a look at your symptom list again. I wouldn't take this doc's word that it isn't Lyme and other tick-borne infections. They can explain every symptom that you listed. So don't just take this one doc's word!!

I would be willing to post the links for finding a LLMD again, you could ask on this forum for others recommendations by creating a new thread with the title something like "Looking for LLMD in the __________ area". Only you know your body as well as you do - no doc can. You know when something is really wrong. So hang in there!!

Your right Razzle. Lyme is the root of all evils. It bombs our immune system and then we get all of these other immune disorder across the board. I would have to write a book on all of the wrong diagnose that I got.
Oh here is one good one!
I was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. MVP. Mitro valve prolapse. Aw no big deal.....it just makes you faint and gives your chest pains and can only be fixed by the mayo clinic in one place. But death is a side effect...lol
Well low and behold....after I was cured at the clinic.....it went away....I no longer had it!?? it is like a door that swings both ways in the heart. It cannot heal itself. But it was gone all of a sudden. I was fine. darn it...****!
And this Dr. is a big time Dr. down here. They don't have all the answers. None of them do.
Think of your Dr.s as dates....not all of them are going to "work
out"...:>)
