Entry to US to see LLMD- any problems?

HI All,

I will be travelling to Washington DC from the UK for a 4 day trip in December. I will be seeing an LLMD. I am travelling with my dad who is coming to support me. We will do a bit of sightseeing whilst I am there if my health is up to it. I plan to travel back with some meds and the clinic is giving me a letter about that for the airline.

My question is, would I encounter any difficulties on entry? I will of course be filling out an ESTA form beforehand. Both my Dad and I are UK citizens. The website is suggesting it's ok to travel for medical treatment on a visa waiver/ESTA but would I need to supply further info do you think? I don't think Lyme counts as a communicable disease.

Well, I don't know anything about entry into the US and what it takes. I've never left the US!!
