Tingling on original tick site

I wouldn't even attempt to venture a reason to why you are tingling where the tick bit you because for once in my life, I have absolutely no idea! 

Maybe the feeling will pass...  Let us know okay?

I am not sure about that exactly but what I can say about something I Feel is definately a related issue , is that I am not sure where I got bit , and I am not sure where my ex boyfriend ( my middle daughters father ) , but with me I had this spot about the size of 2 quarters on my butt cheek that had a very odd looking sore that continued to reoccur , it tingles and gets sore and will flare , and I have noticed a cycle with it with my lyme symptoms .
Then when my ex got lyme he started with a high fever, chills , aches , sweats , pain all over throwing up and a bad chest cold .. somewhere within a couple days he had a big area on his scrotum that was like a sore but awful looking , it turned black , then the flesh died and it scabbed over , it was horrible , and it scared me . A week in of fevers and not getting much better he got a rash , but his rash was big light red rings all over his entire body , he showed me and I told him to go to the docotrs and they said nope not lyme , not a bullseye , he came home i started googling images of lyme rashes and found many that looked identical to his !!!! I called his doctor and asked if I could email her pics of his rash that I had taken , and also a link ot the pictures I had found of the rash of lyme that looked the same . They had him come back in and test for lyme , he tested postive . I good obvious postive , he was able to get on high dose doxy immediately , he claims he does not have any symptoms to this day .
My point in bringing these two situations up is that both of us had a sore that I believe now was the tick bite site ... and with both of us it would explain why we never knew we had a tick bite because both were in areas you may not see . Now both of us have had ongoing reoccurences with the area ... he has never had a reoccurence of a sore on the scrotum yet he has had tingling and soreness and now has a lump that he has been to the doctors for . THey gave it some fancy name and did a biopsy on it and said it was benign . With me that spot on my buttock cheek has reoccured and still to the day has flares of tingling and soreness .
So I do not know why but I do believe that the site of the bite or of the lyme entering the body for some reason ( wishI had the answer ) can act weird and tingle etc..

Given that bull's eye rashes will sometimes appear in the area of the bite, I wouldn't think it's that uncommon to feel something where you were bitten - when the ticks attach, they secrete a substance that numbs the area (so you don't know they're there) - perhaps your skin/body is just sensitive enough that when that wore off your body noticed that something had gone awry in that area?
