HI-
I RECENTLY GOT TESTED FOR LYME AFTER YEARS OF EXTREME FATIGUE AND MORE RECENTLY SWOLLEN/PAINFUL JOINTS. CAN ANYONE PLEASE RECOMMEND AN LLMD IN NEW YORK CITY OR NORTH JERSEY?

Hi Natalie. I believe on this site you can recommend an LLMD so long as you're not him/her trying to market yourself so here goes. I just started seeing Dr. "C" in Mt. Kisco. He's not in the city or Jersey but not too far. One of my customers did extremely well with him and is the reason I went to see him. I actually didn't see him but a nurse practitioner because he's not there on the weekends but she seemed knowledgable and was very nice. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi ToddPaul,

To protect the LLMD's, I don't think you are allowed to use the LLMD's full name on the public board. You can PM the info though or abbreviate to Dr. C.

I know it's confusing especially since some of the LLMD's publicly state that they specialize in Lyme. But thanks to the IDSA, LLMD's have a lot to worry about in being public about treating a "controversial" condition. :)

Yes, sorry ToddPaul - I had to edit the mention of the doc's name out. We ask that members enable their email option in their profile to share doctors contact info for a number of reasons - not the least of which is because of the attack on the doc's that are willing to place all on the line just to treat us.
