Does amoxicillin penetrate the cns in anyway?

Hey guys I'm on amoxicillin at the moment as I'm pregnant. I just wondered does amoxicillin have any penetrative power within the brain or cns ? I've been taking raw garlic as well to try and naturally crack some cysts but I'm mainly wondering about amoxicillin as a drug for lyme? New studies seem to suggest its a lot more powerful against lyme than once thought? Also dr j goes children with autistic symptoms amoxicillin and there development seems to advance with treatment ? Which would suggest it does hve some brain involvement. Any ideas? Also how much o the Amox would my baby be getting?

Summer that is interesting re: Amoxicillian being equivalent to being on IV. I had never heard that. I have been on Amoxicillian for almost a year as it is one of the antibiotics I can actually tolerate.

I have been making slow & steady progress over the year but am doing a bunch of things in addition to the Amoxicillin. I have seen great progress in the burning in my toes & fingers and some progress on brain stuff. I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly and you find the answer to your question.
