HI Blah,
Welcome to our forum! I'm so glad that you found us! It would be best for you to go through our "New to Lyme?Start here!" thread, as we have a lot of important info there including symptom lists (as Lyme rarely travels by itself), informative links, instructions on detoxing when one has these infections (a must to heal well) and more.
I need to ask that you enable your email option in your profile, as we don't allow members to share doctors info
openly on the forum (for a number of reasons). You can find the option to enable your email under "edit profile". Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "submit" button.
You have probably already been given this list, but just in case you haven't here are a few things you can do to find a LLMD:
You can start a new thread titled something like:"Looking for LLMD in the _______ area."
You can also email our long time member, Dan's Mother at:
[email protected] You can also email Stephanie at:
[email protected] You can also go to:
www.turnthecorner.org/ if you want to learn a little bit more about
Lyme Disease.
You can also go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link:
www.lymediseaseassociation.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=277&Itemid=74 You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is another great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey.
www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/treatment_guidelines_clearing_ilads.html Everyone's opinion on what makes a "good" doctor varies, so ask a lot of questions or get as much info as you can from not only the person, but the internet as well.
