Hey,
I am making up my own protocol with grapefruit seed, oil oregano, and potent allicin/garlic capsules, but I am not sure how long of a break I should do! 12 days for each herbal? What about
30 days on then something else? 3 weeks?
Please...help...thanks!

Fyi - grapefruit in general causes adverse reactions with a lot of medications - like a lot a lot. Not sure if the seed is different. Are you trying anything else? I'm not familiar with any of those herbs but what kind of concentrations are you using?

"A lot a lot" - Is that scientific speak, Opugirl?

I tend to overemphasize....although in the past two years my speech has had a lot of weird things but they are hilarious. For example, if you are playing scrabble a "definitionary" is a good idea. If you want a little bit of two things mixed together its "both and both" instead of half and half. Ferry go rounds are also a lot of fun....oh so, so, many. The worst is when I'm at a work fcn. I'm usually pretty quiet there but luckily when we go out everyone drinks so it is perfectly acceptable and generally gets laughs. :)

Hi Opugirl
Did you know that there is an island people in the South Seas who don't have plural forms of nouns?
If they want to use the plural ,they just say the word twice!
So they would say 6 lyme bug bug--you might do very well there!LOL:
Seriously, you should hear the tripe that comes out of my mouth sometimes,I have to speak 2 languages all the time and quite often the first half of the word or sentence starts off in German and ends in English.
I have also been known to speak English to German friends and vice versa.
The worst thing is ,most of the time I don't realize I'm doing it.

OH man! Would I ever be in trouble if I had to keep track of more than just English!!! LOL!! I can mess that one up pretty good still! And watch out if I'm herxing! No telling what I might be trying to say!
Back when my kids were still living at home, if I tried to talk "too much" according to the Lyme, one of the kids would announce, "Come on!! It's time to play 'guess what Mom is trying to say!" - LOL! I had to laugh! It was all too true!!
I also used to (well still do a bit) type entire words backwards (correctly by the way) and would only notice if I had the presence of mind to go over my email before I sent it! Made for some interesting replies!!! Giggle!
At least we can get a few good laughs at the expense of what Lyme has done to us!
I still have a card that my Mom sent to me a couple years ago hanging on the wall next to my computer screen. It says, "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves for we shall never cease to be amused."
Who can deny that when Lyme is involved?! LOL!!
