Weird stomach pains

I've been having stomach pains after taking ABX and Diflucan for a UTI (I take herbals for lyme), which I know is hard on the liver. I went to the dr to get liver enzymes checked but am still waiting for results.

The weird thing is the pain has moved around, started and stopped but has been fairly constant for a few days now. It's been on upper left, under ribs (which could've been from pulling a muscle playing Just Dance on the Wii :)  But also on the right side, lower rib area and then upper area.

Today I noticed the pain started after I ate. Anyone experience anything like this?

It could be a GI issue from the meds. That's pretty common to happen. I have rib pain on both sides. It had gone away for a while and now it's back. It's one of the symptoms that I had originally when I first got sick.

Have you had a lot of liver problems before? I had elevated liver enzymes for a LONG time and I didn't have any pain during that time so it went unnoticed by me. I actually felt better when my liver enzymes were up than now when they are normal.

Yes! Personally I was on abx for 6/last 8 weeks. 1 day after I stopped abx I started getting a pain underneath my ribs on the right side, almost right below my breast. Happened after I ate also, and also after I had a liver detox tea. So I thought liver maybe? but I've since felt a similar type of pain underneath my ribs on the left, no longer seems to be correlated with eating. Yesterday behind my shoulder blade hurt - but that only lasted for 5 minutes. The pain underneath my rib comes and goes it isn't unbearable just worrisome. My liver checked out before abx. Online it says the most likely culprit is gallstones or some gi issue?.

I know for me, as I have issues with my innerds anyway, when I get abdominal pains that move around a lot, I find that sometimes I can actually locate where my intestines are cramping, and it's usually pretty high up in the abdomen, like right under the sternum, or off the the left or right slightly.

Please let us know what your test results show and I hope you figure out what's going on soon!
