Just found a dead deer tick on my couch. So scared i or another family member could've been bitten again. I feel like my life is consumed by Lyme disease. I find myself getting quite depressed about it. Trying to stay positive, but having a hard time with acceptance.
Not looking for any advice, just needed to vent.

Hang in there. I know you just wanted to vent. I remember after being diagnosed, I found a bug on me that I thought looked like a tick. I freaked out, cried and hyperventilated. Then the bug flew away.

Hang in there. Things will get better.

Yeah that is a good one Justascarf! My husband is getting a little annoyed with me about how paranoid I am over ticks now. He says, ' Honey, I really don't think we should be getting the kids paranoid about playing in the grass...' I try to be reasonable but I feel like if one of them got sick, I just don't know how I would deal. I can barely deal when it's me!
