To anyone who was touched by the tragedy in Connecticut....

I am deeply saddened by such loss of innocent lives. That situation was terrible to say the least, and there may never be enough answers.

My deepest sympathies, prayers, healing thoughts go to those that were touched by this tragedy and wish the survivors Peace and Love.

For those that don't know what I'm talking about, I didn't know what happened until yesterday evening, as I was gone to my doc's appt. My Mom called me and told me of the horrific events - 26 dead, 20 of them small children between the ages of 5 and 10.

Thanks for starting this thread Traveler. I am also shocked and saddened by what happened in Newtown, CT. I don't think anyone can make sense of the 20 year old guy that killed 26 people (20 small children, 6 adults) and then killed himself.

My prayers go out to the survivors as well.

This terrible event gives perspective to what human tragedy really means,it is truly beyond comprehension.

As a former kindergarten teacher and a mom of a first grader right now, my heart aches for that community, the school staff, and families of those precious lives lost. Prayers to everyone touched by this tragedy...

I too have worked in a school, and have 4 children of my own. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone whose life has been changed forever by this tragedy.
