Hi, my name is Rosa. I am new to this forum and would love to share my story!

Prior to contracting Lyme disease through a tick bite, I was a busy insurance professional that struggled with balancing career, family and spirit.

The battle with Lyme disease has been a long journey for me. It is a debilitating disease that affected me emotionally, spiritually and physically (permanent damage to my central nervous system). After visiting 15 physicians, one can only imagine the emotional strain on the family when seeking a medical diagnosis that is severely overlooked. My life is no longer taken for granted. I survived a near death experience. I believe my life was spared by a higher power to be a voice for the disease.

In sharing my memoir, it is my prayer to give a sense of hope to Lyme disease patients and their loved ones.

We are very glad that you were able to become well again! Your good news is a real encouragement to the members here.

And thank you for the gentle spirit with which you have removed the link. Unfortunately there have been many instances where individuals have joined this forum with no other purpose than financial gain. I sense that that may not be the case with you.

Welcome to the forum. I hope that you are planning to stick around! We need more people like you. I was also urged to write a book about Heather's journey to health, but I made up my mind, that if I ever did, it would be a free online book. Won't you join me in giving hope to the many sick people here. Lets give, and not take!
