(No Subject)

My lab reports show an increase in the kidney and liver panels so my doctor has stopped the doxycycline and clindamycin.  I am now to start Tindamax (sp) tomorrow to go after the cysts.  I do have a concern about taking this med because of the neuropathy potential which I have dealt with over the past couple of years due to the antibiotic Levaquin.  Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any info or side effects experienced by the members here on this site and what other alternative measures anyone has used to break up these cysts.   Just a little apprehensive to start this new med tomorrow.

I took tindamax for a week. It was fine for me except for raising my liver enzymes (which were already abnormal anyway). I take flagyl which is a similar medication with no more problems than any of the other abx I've taken. Adding B6 and methylcobalamin is a good idea to prevent some of the neuropathy risk according to Dr. H. 50mg B6 3x per day.

I picked up mild thistle today. How many mgs. is everyone taking on a daily basis? My doctor also has me taking 3000 mg Vit C, 2000 mg D3, 500 mg Resvoratrol, a daily B complex and 100 billion therobiotic complete. Summer16, I will look into the methylcobalamin. Mystery Illness, what other detox supplements are you taking?

Be careful when starting Milk Thistle. Some will have a reaction to it. It's been suggested that if you have a ragweed allergy, you have a higher chance of reacting to the Milk Thistle.
