Hi All,
It has been a while since I posted an update, so here goes :)
With a caveat. (in response to the criticisms that have been posted insinuating there is a hoax scam or something similar, due to the glowing reports, cost, etc, of the Clinic).
I am posting my process to help people who might be considering this clinic as an option. It was crucial for me when I was deciding whether to go, to read about people's experiences with it. I had never heard of Hansa Center and just happened upon it while googling something else!
..then I read everything I could from the Hansa website, googled independent reviews and experiences (not from their website), read all the accounts I could find from patients, and read Dr. J's book. Then decided to go based on all that info. Oh, I also talked to the clinic itself and consulted with my local doc about it. She had already heard about Dr. J and interacted with him a bit.
It is in this vein of providing info, that I share. I am a patient, I have no connection whatsoever to the clinic or to any product or doctor of any kind, for that matter.
AND I am freaking happy that I found them!! Will not mince words. I am a lot better.
So.... :)
What is better: Fatigue is a lot better! My good days are way better...feel like "normal" person! Head fog is almost gone, energy is there to get through an entire day, even into the evening often. (this is new).
Head pressure is uncommon now, although still happens occasionally. Sleep is better..sleep through the night most nights for 7-8 hours.
I actually feel bored sometimes! I have energy to spare..this is new!
Bonus...my brain seems to work better. Have been doing logic problems to study for Law School entrance exam (LSAT) for the past year (yes, I like this, and am a nerd!). Quit doing them for a few months and just started again...i marked ones that were hard or could not figure out. And now I can do them! See patterns I never saw before. This has happened repeatedly (before I would re-do hard ones and have the same problems). So a small victory for my brain :)
What is the same: exercise intolerance. I find that I may feel great at work all day (my work involves walking and picking up lots of books and carrying them). But crash the next day. I thought this was done with, but it is not. I think it is the lifting/carrying aspect. Has to do with lactic acid/mitochondria I think.
Am going to take some different meds (lactic acid) for this and also do a protocol (HCG) to re-set hypothalamus.
I also have had some days or part days of fatigue, so the "well" feeling is still not constant. And a couple of bouts of depression for a couple of days at a time. Then it lifted. Doc thinks thyroid/adrenal/hypothalamus is at issue here.
Gut is still not working really well..doing yeast and parasite stuff now. I think this is a linchpin. When gut heals, I will likely really be rocking :)
So....still working on stuff. Feeling about 70 percent better, I'd say, instead of the 80 percent, due to the ups and downs.
I went back to Hansa for a couple of Days in Dec to get a follow up before starting the HCG protocol.
My CRT had improved again...overall more functiioning in the body. However, still issues with thyroid, gut (fungus), some vein inflammation recurring.
I had previously had high breast inflammation...exceptionally high. (I have not symptoms). But it is now just barely over normal. This is great as this can be a breast cancer indicator.
Will go back for MRI follow-up to CCSVI in Feb (in Vegas). (it is free). And back to Hansa sometime in Feb or March as follow-up to HCG. Doc has not told me I really need to go back, but I think the treatment is superior so am doing so, at least for a while (and while I can find the funds). It feels like getting the body up to speed as quickly as possible is helpful and will pay off in the long run. At some point I will go back to my quasi-local doc. and she will consult with Dr. J.
That's it! Hope this is helpful. Am open to questions or emails.
May we all find what we need and get better in 2013!!
Nan
