New doctor new hope

I saw a new doctor today, and I must say I have hope for this one. He doesn't treat the disease he treats the body. I had more going on then I thought, bad things happening with my liver. I am now going sugar , and gluten free. The sugar beside I have sugar issues, and also because they make the seizures worse.

He did not make me feel like I wasn't sick, he told me how sick I was. After reviewing all the test , he had everything reviewed before I walked in the office, he knew my health chart . I was amazed by him.

I have decided to apply for Short term disability, because of how ill I am , both doctors today said the paint chemicals at my job are making me worse. I also had two really bad seizures yesterday one at work, and one last night. I don't feel I can get well working in that toxic place.

He said something that made my jaw drop, he said if you don't believe you can get better , I won't treat you. I need you to know you will get through this. He said it's going to be a long road but I can do it, he knows I can.He didn't beat around the buss he told me exactly how it was, I am very ill, I have to change my diet, I have to boost my immune system and then we go after the parasites.

He hadn't known I through up worms , two days ago. When I told him, he said I know you have them, we just can't start treating them yet. Have to stop feeding them first, then we kill them.

So tomorrow a new day begins, new medicine. In his office he had a sign that said hope, and I was getting ready to sight my disability papers, and I started to cry. I have worked my whole life to get where I am at, and to admit to myself how sick I really am I was not prepared to do yet.

So my message is , we can't stop believing in our self. And if one doctor's door closes, find another, and another. Don't give up.

I am so relieved and happy for you. Thank God for Doctors like him. My first LLMD (I only switched because I wanted someone w/ more experience) said similar things to me that your dr. did. He had reviewed all of my chart and really looked at the entire picture. He was the first Dr. that said "something's wrong, you're sick and you have no real diagnosis, just a list of symptoms". I felt so relieved when he said that. I wanted to jump across his desk and hug him.

I can't wait to hear of your progress! What new meds. does he have you starting on?

Just curious-did he say what "kind" of worms he thinks you have? Have you had a lot of GI symptoms? I have had tons of GI problems since the beginning although it has improved since Lyme and Bart treatment, but makes me wonder...

The new medication is:

Magnesium-
Taurine
Hemocysteine supreme
Neuroflam

I know what you mean about being shocked at how ill you are. I had the same feeling in October. But, like you say, it is good to know the truth. Knowledge is power.

And, like you, I went from doc to doc until I found really good ones.

So happy for you!

Going on the short term disability is probably a good idea, although I also understand how hard.

I like the fact that he's pointed out the importance of "believing" that you're going to recover.

Belief and positive thinking are absolutely essential if you're going to beat these buggers.

It's so wonderful that your doc supports you getting the short term disability, and getting out away from paint fumes!! It really only makes sense right now as your body is struggling pretty hard!

This made me crux my doctor is the same. Treats the whole body and then once I got strong enough we started attacking the bacteria. For 3 months no one knee and now I know what I'm dealing with because of her. I'm so happy for you! Please keep us posted. There is hope!!!

I wanted to update my seizures are back and worst then before. I had five yesterday, I don't know what to do anymore. I don' t want to give up hope, but today when I hit the floor, I thought how many times am I going to have to crawl back .

I am still taking the meds, but I don't know if they are working or not.

Sorry you are having such a hard time. It sounds like you have a great new Dr., call him. Let him know what's going on and see what he recommends. Also, have you had someone record one? That might be helpful to show him recording of what happens.

Oh, Justme! I'm so very sorry!! It's got to be so frustrating! I'm actually thinking kind of straight tonight () and what you said about the toxic build up is what I believe happened to me to cause my seizures and black outs.

Just know that you are in many members here are praying for you and keeping you in their thoughts as you go through this. I wish I could come comfort you personally!! Giggle!
