Hi there everyone and Happy Friday! I have a few questions for the group. I'm undergoing a Rocephin IV Treatment (1-2 times a week), coupled with supplements to help out which are listed in my signature. I also detox at home (sea salt baths or foot bath), infrared sauna at my doctors practice and colonics.
First time I had a treatment was Jan 4th and I had a really bad herx on January 6th.
I didn't get another one until January 25th (my doctor ran out of medication because 4 new cases of Lyme disease infected folks walked in a week after my treatment). The one on the 25th wasn't that bad...I lasted 4 days before I started crashing (muscle weakness, fatigue and had a bad balance coordination issue and slight dizziness). I had treatment #3 on January 31st and #4 on Feb 2nd because she wanted to bump up my IV treatment to two a week. I think I had them too close together or there is a major issue happening with the co infectors. I had the worse air hunger on Sunday and my nerves were shot (but I still watched the Superbowl)!. But the air hungers was horrible and all week I've been up and down with air hunger. Then anxiety kicked in on Tuesday and yesterday and I was dizzy/out of balance. This is my second good day this week (knock on wood).
Here's the deal...I told her I want to start dealing with the Babesia, I tested negative for it but have a lot of the symptoms and the Bart because it is probably interfering with the Lyme treatment. She said lets only focus on Lyme.
So here are my questions...Are any of you on Rocephin, if so did you ever feel dizzy, had a lack of coordination, out of sorts? What other IV treatments are out there? And if you have Babs and Bart or another co infector how are you handling treating all? I heard that my Lyme treatment might not take effect at all after a while if the co infectors aren't treated and my IV treatments might be triggering the co infectors to really act up.
Also any advice on relieving the symptoms of air hunger. I heard Turmeric is good.
Let me know everyone! Thanks!
