Hey,
I use some organic powdered herbs from some very high recommended companies. I am concerned about oxidation though. I emailed one of the herb companies and they said this:
Thank you for contacting us! Powders do oxidize more quickly than other herbs as there is more exposed surface area. However, we do not recommend refrigeration due to the moisture that could increase bacterial growth. To preserve your powders and extend the shelf life beyond the recommend 6 to 12 months, you can freeze them if they are in a vacuum sealed container to protect from moisture and freezer burn. Depending on the storage container used in the fridge, you can store them this way but we would recommend vacuum sealing for this as well.
I have so much doubt about my herbs working because of this!
