Hello,

I'm posting for my husband who is currently being treated by a Lyme Specialist in Maryland(3 hr commute each way -we live in NE PA), who charges $750 for first visit, then $350+ per visit(1 x a month) thereafter and doesn't participate with insurance companies.  Added to this is all the supplements/herbals and co-pay for meds.........We've seen some improvement over this year and a half, but know this may take several more years to treat and I don't think I can continue with this exorbidant expense.  I'm looking for Lyme Disease Specialists who participate with insurance and may be a little closer to our area.

PS - My husband also has two coinfections, as well as Candida, High Murcury & Lead, so he must be treated for all.

Also, I have Candida and i have found eating one raw garlic clove a day has really helped. I mince it up then put it on a cracker with some cheese. It is really hot in your mouth but again, it does help!

Both myself and my husband have Candida. I've had it since a teen(now in my 40's) and was able to finally get it under wraps for a good 8 yrs. with diet,chlorella and exercise.......that is until I made changes to my diet and it is now back in full force, as is his. We've both started a candida diet/cleanse and at least I know what I need to do with the candida, Lyme on the otherhand is immensely more complicated, but we're so hopeful with the improvements we've seen thus far.

I realize now that I've had it for a long time. No um, overtly obvious signs though. i've always had oral thrush but no problems down below. Usually no problem with fatigue. A lot of if was loving carbs I think. So I've almost cut those out. And I use yeast ease which is homeopathic and just started 1 clove/garlic perday last week. Oral thrush has really gone down.

Yes, there are so many crazy symptoms with Candida, just like Lyme it can distrupt the whole body.  My first symptoms were chronic migraines, as well as lethargy, muscle ridgidity & pain, etc., no vaginal problems here either....thankful for that!  Candida has cause me terrible pain and disability,so I must keep it in check...or else!  I am a vegetarian, but my diet must be stricter than many - no wheat, soy, sugar, no dairy(except Greek Yogurt) to keep things in balance.  It's all worth it because without your health you have nothing!
