Traveler - here's to being a dangerous thinker!
Here's more on the hemp hearts because it's the most manageable food source of manganese I've found besides nuts.
I bought Manitoba Harvest brand (Manitobaharvest.com) at a health/ethnic grocery store. There's probably other brands.
3 Tablespoons (30 gms) (maybe sprinkled throughout the day?) are 170 Calories, 3 gms Fiber, 10 gms Protein, RDA - 8% B6 and Folate, 20% Zinc and Iron, 25%Thiamin, 45% Phosphorus and Magnesium, and 110% Manganese.
Of course, if you get lots of manganese from other foods don't get too gungho supplementing with hempseeds. All things in balance and moderation, right?
If anyone comes up with info on manganese, or lyme seizures, or epilepsy linked to manganese, please tell me here!
Just me - Good luck managing your seizures. I've seen a couple videos and talked to a new friend who had them and I really am sorry you have that burden.
