help anyone have terrible pain neck and back

I have been told I have lyme disease. I had the rash but have not had the igenex test going this week. I have terrible neck stiffness, and pain and low back pain. it seems the pain is the worst part of my disease other than terrible rages at times. I am having to take pain pills to be able to function right now. has anyone gotten a spinal tap and had this much pain?

Heather used to have terrible pain at the base of her skull where the medulla is. She also had spinal pain. I know that its no picnic!

I know that pain! I had the neck and spine pain BAD for nearly two months...then it went away for a bit, and now it's coming back again. It's ridiculous. But the depression/mood swings/mental/emotional junk is the hardest for me to handle right now. I hate that feeling like I am losing my mind.
