New to Lyme /hope to make lyme friends

I just found out today i have Babesia. I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow to discuss a treatment plan. If anyone has any advice to share i would love to hear. I know its a new journey in my life but happy to have found some answers after 9 years of suffering. I have been dealing with bladder pain, fibromyalgia pain and recently low thyroid and candida overgrowth and a parasite called blastocysitis hominis. Once i researched all of these i figured out lyme was associated with all of them and got tested and here i am.
Hoping i can share info with several of you and help anyone else out as many have helped me to get to where i am now with getting a diagnosis.

Yes I did find a but I live in San Antonio Texas and have to drive to Houston tx As I was told there are none in San Antonio. I will see my doctor today and will keep in touch with others here.

How did your appointment go today?

Well, a well known LLMD/researcher (Dr. James Schaller) has this to say about Babesia:
"No blood smear will be positive for Babesia unless you have a profoundly massive number of infected red blood cells, which is rare. Therefore, no blood smear should be considered negative unless it has been examined for thirty minutes.

It's also quite well known that many people don't test positive for Lyme at first! I was one and it took a full year on strong abx before I had a test come back positive for Lyme & RMSF - nothing for Babesia and Bartonella, even though I had both of those infections as well!

Don't let the ignorant stop you or get you too discouraged!
