Anyone have any experience with Armour? Positive or negative. I'm about
to start it. My thyroid blood work is technically in the "normal" range but not at the optimal level.

i take armour and synthroid. I have no problem with it. I have severe hashimotos. My antibodies are usually about
3000 which is off the chart. Since I started lyme treatment and armour my antibodies went down to a little over a hundred. I think it went down more from the lyme treatment then from the armour. I am trying to go off synthroid and just stay on armour.

I've been taking Armour for years for hypothyroidism. My physician feels it's much superior to Synthroid as it's a more natural product. Have never had any problems with it and it's really cheap (bonus).

I'm going to start it tomorrow. I'm kind of worried because I'm already having really bad heart palpitations this week for no reason. Hopefully it doesn't increase them.
I have heard that many have lost weight while on Armour. What would happen to someone that's already underweight when they start taking it? Would it have that effect?

armour was so much better and easier on the system. i had palps on synth, but never on armour. you can adjust your dosage too. its much nicer to the body than synth.

I have been on Armour for at least 12yrs or more. I was on Synthroid but never felt "right".
My Dr wouldn't let me try Armour so I found one that would. I use to go every 6 months to
see if I needed adjustment but now have to go more often as this spirochete issue seems to
have my system in constant flux. You shouldn't have heart palpitations with it unless you are
taking too much.

I take armour too for hypothyroidism. It took a while to get the amount just right if I took too much my heart would pound. I take 10 mg in a.m. and then 10 m.g. around lunch time. It has really helped me tremendously.
Lot's of people take this drug. You should be fine with it.
