Is this liver pain?

I was taking artiminisin a few days ago and started feeling a slight, very infrequent pain on the lower right side. I'm on and on/off schedule so stopped it. Then took an ABX for a UTI. Then started Capryl (a caprillic acid-based anti-fungal) 3 days ago.

Last night I had a couple of vodka and soda's and later that evening and ever since, I've had the same pain on my right side but a little more intense, but not entirely consistent.

I'm going to stop the vodka :-) and the Capryl for a couple of days. Is this what liver pain feels like? I take liver support everyday and get my enzymes checked every few months and they are always ok. (But they have been high years ago before the liver support).

I jumped in the sauna and sipped Yogi detox tea today.

I think it's fairly uncommon to actually feel liver pain. I know when my enzymes were elevated and I was having a lot of inflammation, I actually felt better than usual.

Gallbladder pain is common to have in that area though. I would definitely bring it up with your doctor. Do you have a standing order somewhere for liver function tests? You might want to go do one just in case.

Does the gall bladder become overworked from these types of supplements as we know the liver does? Thanks!

I feel pressure around the area of my liver when I need to support it or do a liver flush. I like this site to help me understand (or remind me!) where the different organs are......and it's fun to play with too! smilewinkgrin
