Hi all,
Tickled, yes, I have bought sea salt that was harvested in New Zealand for the reasons you stated.
I used to love fish but that was years ago.. I do go fishing and catch trout in fresh running streams here in the mountains... Actually 2 years ago I cleaned the trout myself, cooked it and ate it (I forgot about that!). I had done some research to mercury levels where I live and from what I found out, it was non-existent.. Do I believe that 100%? I don't know.. I am truly a skeptic...
Meat? I do eat meat because I love it.. But I only buy from a butcher that I know (cows are free range), costs more money but it's worth it to me. And I do respect everyones choice in what they choose to eat and their reasons. When I meet people who eat sushi I have to use all my self-control not to tell them about all those parasites in that raw fish!
Pain? LOL! I have not had pain in a long time so I forgot what pain feels like. Yes, I'm in pain but I'm doing my best because I keep thinking of the end result, teeth! Actually, this whole procedure is going to take 1 year (though I hope to have temporary teeth soon after the swelling goes down). I have ginger root simmering right now and I admit I'm taking Advil. The first night after I had the surgery done I slept with frozen Brussel Sprouts on my face.. Then I switched to frozen peas!
During the course of my life I had many operations after I was run over by a car in 1974 (that's when I lost my upper 8 teeth) so I have been through the mill several times. Every day gets better! And I'm in the habit of using a food processor for my foods... I grind up fresh broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, etc. Potatoes I mash up and then whip... This week I'm going to use my blender and make green smoothies with some fruit.
How are you healing after having the wisdom tooth taken out? Do you have stitches? Are you wiser now? :) Hope you are doing okay!
