Uhhh, nope. I don't do hardly any cow dairy, but I do all kinds of raw goat dairy (of course I also make it, so I know what's in it!). Did you know that raw goats milk is the only milk that Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Homeopathic Docs say is healthy?
My diet is very high fiber, NO sugar at all- I use stevia, and I do watch how much wheat and yeast I get, and I eat a ton of veggies.
Sugar and cow dairy are my worst enemies though, right after biting insects that spread these infections! But I also have to have this combo of herbs - licorice, peppermint & white peony - in equal amounts that's what really controls my intestinal spasms. Every time I get behind and run out of my "cramp herbs", boy oh boy!! Do I ever pay for it! (Thanks Lyme
)
Ginger root also soothes the intestinal tract. I use 1500 mgs three times a day, although with turmeric (1500 mgs three times a day also) to help with the inflammation that comes with intestinal cramps.
Otherwise I eat well. I keep a fairly large garden every year so that I can get all those good veggies without all the chemicals - but have to rely on the grocery stores for the rest of the year.
I am getting around to doing some canning though!
Oh - another thought, how's your spleen doing? My spleen is going all wonky (like the new medical terms? Giggle!!) and it has affected my intestines quite a bit. Treating that is having a very positive effect on my intestines!
Hmmm, maybe I should revive the "Poop and you" thread?
