Hi Brainer,
My LLND has recently put me on a very restrictive diet, including no wheat or gulten. This led me to purchase a book called "Cooking with Coconut Flour" by Bruce Fife, ND. (Coconut flour is gluten free.) That book says the following:
An interesting benefit of coconut fiber, not found in other fibers, is that it can expel intestinal worms. Eating coconut meat to get rid of parasites is a traditional practice in India that was recognized among the early medical profession and is still used in some parts of the country today. Researchers have tested this method and have found that
eating a sufficient quantitiy of coconut can expel 90 percent of intestinal parasites within 12 hours. Dried coconut is more effective than fresh in removing tapeworms. The researchers recommended eating foods made wtih coconut flour, a form of dried coconut, as a safe and relatively easy way to treat tapeworm infestation.
Note that coconut flour is dried and ground coconut meat.
I haven't researched what "a sufficient quantity of coconut" is. But, maybe ths can help you with your intestinal parasites.
I will re-post this under a new topic also, so that others can read the information if they are interested.
