Dog recently dxed with Lyme; natural stuff for dogs?

My dog was just dxed with Lyme, and I'm afraid to continue abx (Doxy) bc. I have c. diff., which dogs on abx (or otherwise vulnerable), can catch.

Which herbals can dogs safely take? I know oregano is toxic to dogs.

This dog (Sophie) needs special care; if it weren't for her, I don't think I would be alive.

I would check out http://www.oilyvet.com/ and see if you can find anything useful there for helping to support your dog's immune system.

I wonder if a Rife machine can be used on her.

Are you familiar with Dr. Becker on mercola.com? She may have some past articles on pets with Lyme.

Hi teragram,

Just like people I think diet plays an important role for pets too. about a year ago I switched food for my 2 cats because I was reading too many articles (sometimes I wish I didn't read so much) and I didn't like what I read. My cat's coats are so much shinier, thicker, etc.

Anyway, I buy the dry formula of Blue Wilderness for my Cats (I also buy organic wet food) and mix them. The cheapest place I have found is this place (I am not affiliated with Chewys, I only wish I could chew, in due time I will again)... Dopey me!
