Abx not working, need advice, HBOT next?

Hi guys,

So I'm starting to accept the fact that abx treatment is likely not going to be an option for me. I recently had a horrible reaction to/herx from Bactrim, so I stopped it and stopped Ceftin. My old symptoms were quickly reappearing so my LLMD gave me the ok to start Ceftin again. I got really sick after only 2 days so I had to stop again. I'm currently concerned about c diff (showing some symptoms but it's sporadic, as in every other day, so hoping it isn't that).

Has anyone done HBOT? Is it affordable? Effective? Any info on where I could find locations of treatment centers that offers this service?

I'm kind of getting concerned about my options at this point. Idk if pursuing a hansa clinic or even the hyperbaric oxygen treatment is even feasible for me right now, given my financial situation, but I have to look into other options. Hopefully I can finally get on the right track.

I'm so very sorry that your post slipped by for a while!!

Have you considered using all natural treatments? Many that can no longer use abx have used herbs with good results, and that's all I've used and am now healed - well from the infections, not the damage. I'm still getting all of that straightened out.

From what I read a year or so ago, HBOT still wasn't a good option for most with Lyme. Although it helps with healing, it's far from a stand alone treatment to cure it.

The other thing about using herbs/natural treatments is that often that treatment is less expensive than using abx and seeing a LLMD - and there are more and more LLND's and informed Herbalists cropping up all the time. There may be one near you already!
