First of all, let me say that I'm sooo sorry to hear this!! My hubby has a neuroma as well, but he told my hubby that if the third one doesn't 'fix' it, then it likely wouldn't with more injections either.
I would say that having Lyme usually means having a compromised immune system, so that when something happens that the body could normally handle, we end up with an infection, or something else like that. The body is under a heavy load with Lyme alone, add in co-infections and it just gets worse.
Many say that having Lyme disease is equivalent to the same amount of disability as those with congenital heart disease. That says a lot!
Do what you have to do to get this infection under control, then you can get back to healing from Lyme. Oh, but be sure your LLMD knows what's going on too!
