Blood transfusion lyme treatment?

Iv been thinking lately about blood transfusions and if it would be possible to partly treat Lyme with them. I know lyme can live in the other places other than blood but a large amount of it is in the blood so im wondering if removing blood on a regular basis (quicker than the lyme can multiply) while on antibiotics would speed up the healing process? Or even several blood transfusions replacing the infected blood with new. Just a thought, any ideas?

One interesting therapy that is a bit safer is plasmapherisis. It removes diseased plasma, filters the bad stuff out then is put back in. It isn't a fix because these pathogens hide in blood cells but it can remove their waste products and help the immune system get back on top. It's been only used for Lyme patients that progressed to Gullian Barr, but when it is used, it is very helpful.

More bacteria resides in the tissues than the blood, you would be doing this for a very, very long time! And as Morti pointed out, who knows what else you would be getting!! Even with plasmapherisis.

Have you considered adding in some specific herbs to your treatment? Many have found that this greatly speeds and helps their healing.
