Advise - Looking for LLMD in MA/ NH area

Hi

I have the following symptoms and I am wondering if this could be Lyme. I don't remember a tick bite or a bulls eye rash.

It started with heart burn and digestive issues. My endoscopy came back with gastritis and acid reflux. All else was normal.

Then I started feeling random muscle twitches in my arms, legs, eyelids etc. These are driving me crazy. I have fatigue. My legs and arm feel sore. Mean while my heart burn comes and goes and my digestive issues continue. I also have anxiety as well now.

I had my lyme blood test done and it came back normal (no lyme).

I am trying to get in touch with a LLMD in MA / NH area.

Your symptoms can be caused by lyme, though then can be caused by other things as well. Do you remember anything significant happening before the digestive issues started? Could you have picked up intestinal parasites? They can cause a ton of symptoms, including anxiety. I would definitely seek out the LLMD as they'll be able to help you take a comprehensive look for any tickborne illness or things that are often associated with them.

As for helping your symptoms, taking good quality probiotics may be able to help, if the problem is an imbalance of your gut flora. Aloe vera juice is also usually pretty helpful in soothing digestive issues. Twitching can often be caused by B12 or magnesium deficiencies - supplementing with these, or eating foods rich in them could be helpful in alleviating symptoms.

Hi!

If you don't have a copy of your lyme results I would ask your doctor for one. I have found that many doctors do not interpret the test results correctly which can lead to delayed treatment and misdiagnosis. The group here at HW can help you interpret the test.

I did get the blood test results. All it says is "negative". Unfortunately, it does not have the details.
