anyone else have lymph issues after getting lyme?

  They say some people, who have lyme swell up, inflammation so bad, now I have major lymph probs.

going to get compression garments,  whole new world, :(

as I am a size 5x, and it is not from what I eat

angry, frustrated as all the drs I saw, no one helped me

my gr dr, cause I was not keeping food in, was saying how I culd be so overweight

pieces of the puzzle slowly coming together, years later, after damage done...

it just plain stinks

have to take bp medication when I use to be so healthy,

my life is around this disease.... supplements, meds... now compression garments... and lymp massages,  it is painful to have it, to try to remove it

I feel trapped more ways than one...

I use to love to sing, now difficult to modulate muscles to speak sometimes, yet


I will get better and sing, I had a good voice for just regular singing amoung friends and a have good ear.


that is inspiration for me, thank you, I would love to sing a song about breaking free


I would put it on u tube, that would be just so awesome! Thank you for helping me

if anyone else significantly gained water weight, u could email me too,

it seems so rare and sci fi, It is tough

we got enough going on and this too

how could anyone handle all of this?

Hi Wellbeautifulspirit,

So sorry to hear you are having more problems.  I weighed 107 lbs. for many years until I got Lyme. Within 2-3 months a gained almost 20 lbs. I had not yet figured out the whole lyme scenario but talked to a few doctors and they basically blew it off. It seemed like water weight because my shoes didn't fit and by the end of the day my clothes seemed tighter than before!

I had to replace all of my shoes and boots that I loved.

I lost the weight when I started treatment, but now I fight to stay at 100lbs. go figure!?

Please take of yourself first and foremost!! Everything else can wait, really I found it was a struggle to eat, bath, walk the dog,  etc. Many of us know what you are going through. I take a day at a time and I'm never surprised what bizarre things happen when you have lyme. 

Thinking of you, I hope you find a little peace for now, more will come your way!
