Chills...now what?

I have been feeling So much better on Zithromax and then BAM! Now I have chills without fever. I feel them mostly after I have been outside or have been sweating. What's up? Am I becoming toxic?? Any experience would be appreciated.

SickIam, my experience with chills is that they are a "normal" symptom of Lyme. For me they started about 6 months into the infection. When I first got them I thought that I had a cold or the flu but my temperature was normal. I have been getting them ever since and they mostly start from my legs and travel up. They come and go so I have learned to ignore them.

There is a different chill that I get due to sweat. I often sweat a LOT from my neck, specially a few minutes after eating. Then just as quickly as it started, the sweat stops and I get cold to where I have to cover up. Once the moisture evaporates from my body, these "sweat chills" subside.

I have been getting them since before I was on antibiotics so for me they are not a result of the antibiotics killing off the bugs. I have a suspicion that they are a result of my Hashimoto's, meaning that my hormones are off so maybe that's why I get them.

Chills and sweating sound like Babesia to me. Have either of you been treating for that?

I am being treated for Babesia and the chills have been horrendous.  I do not sweat.

No, not yet. I really didnt think I had babiesia...oh this disease is so complicated!

This is week 6 of a positive test of Lyme disease.
I'm having a lot of trouble breathing. O2 sats are normal and lungs are clear... It feels like my diaphragm has weakened...anyone else had this problem?

I've had the same thing..it feels like chills but I start shaking.
