My grandson has just been diagnosed with Lyme's disease through a regular Western Blot test. about
2 weeks ago my grandson had an excruciating headache that lasted a week and then he woke up one morning with a distorted face and eye. He went to the ER and was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. The ER doctor ordered an MRI which was negative and ordered blood work one of which was a Western Blot because my grandson is constantly in the woods. His gp just ordered an antibiotic and a steroid. I know steroids are not to be given to Lyme's patients but I just want to make sure that he should not take the steroid for the Bell's Palsy.
